Fund Analyst, Intern
Green Charge Ventures has an immediate opening for a bright, hard-working individual to work on fund's analysis. This highly interactive position will work with the managing partner and advisors at the firm. The individual will have the opportunity to be involved with fund accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, performance analysis, finance, collateral management, and risk reporting for private equity funds. - Primary responsibility for review of investment and financial reporting for the fund.
- Manage administrators and auditors during the annual financial statement audits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc performance and risk reporting for the fund.
- Manage fund administrators, custodians, brokers, and trustees during the NAV calculation process.
- Control design and documentation.
- Coordinate and address appropriate research requests.
- BBA/BS in Accounting required, from a top-tier school.
- MPA/MBA and/or professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CMA, etc.) are preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, investment bank, or the financial services industry with focus in treasury, finance, fund accounting or corporate accounting.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently and multi-task in a complex, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent work ethic and professional habits.
- Must operate with a high sense of urgency.
- Advanced MS Office skills, accelerated verbal and written communication skills.
Private Equity Associate, Intern
Green Charge Ventures is seeking a bright, creative and hard-working associate that will work closely with the Private Equity and Corporate Strategy teams on due diligence, research, financial modeling, valuation and overall execution of investment opportunities. This is an opportunity for an extraordinary performer who demonstrates excellent research and analytical skills through academic work, personal investing and professional work experience. Locations: NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore
- Conduct research on companies in all sub-sectors.
- Perform all research and financial analysis, including LBO models, detailed operating models, valuation comparables, precedent transactions and industry analysis for prospective deals.
- Prepare written summaries, due diligence packages, presentation materials and investment memorandums for the investment team and investment committee.
- Help lead investment process and execution, including leading due diligence process.
- Conduct interviews with industry experts, management teams and other experts.
- Develop and build relationships with investment bankers, management teams and other contacts in order to source deals.
- Minimum of 2 years of Investment Banking experience and 2 years of Private Equity/Corporate Development related experience.
- MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated prior transaction experience in financial services.
- Strong modeling, research and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – oral and written.
- Presentation skills – able to deliver compelling and concise presentations.
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic and energy.
- Superior attention to detail and thoroughness.
